With the efforts of the university's international deputy and in pursuit of scientific connections between the Petroleum University of Technology and MGIMO University, some students from this institution have been sent to participate in the program.
The MGIMO International Energy Summer School “Russian Energy Policy and International Cooperation in the Energy Sector” is designed to familiarize undergraduate and graduate students with topical issues in international energy relations and energy diplomacy of Russia, international energy cooperation, international economic, scientific, information and legal relations in the field of energy.
Among key disciplines taught by internationally recognized MGIMO professors and major energy companies’ experts are “Current Russian Energy Policy”, “International Energy Cooperation”, “Energy Diplomacy and International Energy Security”, “Development of Energy Resources on the Principles of Sustainable Development”, etc. The MGIMO International Energy Summer School Program is practice-oriented and includes business and role games, analysis of practical problems, interactive lectures, round tables and case studies.
